7.5t (C1) Driver - Royal Mail - Filton, Bristol Location: Filton, Bristol Pay Rate: £16.53 – £26.21 per hour Pertemps is proud to be working with Royal Mail, the UK's trusted Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV 7.5t (C1) Drivers to join their team this Christmas at the Filton Mail Centre. This is your chance to be part of something special – helping deliver Christmas to the nation Whether you're looking for a few shifts or regular work, we offer flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to earn extra over the festive period. About the Role: As a 7.5t driver, you'll be delivering and collecting mail and parcels between Royal Mail centres, operating from organised depots with clean, well‑maintained vehicles. While most of the work is driving, there will occasionally be interaction with the load – so a flexible, can‑do attitude is essential. This role runs 7 days a week, with a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle. What's on Offer: Various start times between 03:00 – 23:00 Immediate starts available Guaranteed 8 hours' pay on every shift – no matter the hours worked All‑year‑round opportunities with extra Christmas work available Shifts scheduled 1 week in advance Excellent pay rates with accrued holiday pay Pension scheme Choice of weekly or monthly pay Flexible working patterns – full‑time, part‑time or occasional shifts Onsite canteen and free parking What You'll Need: Valid 7.5t (C1) licence held for at least 1 year with 180 days proven commercial driving experience Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential Willingness to work weekends as the site operates 7 days per week and peak days are weekends No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, or TT endorsements) Excellent geographical knowledge and a professional attitude Strong knowledge of WTD and driver hours Comfortable with manual tachograph entries Ability to pass a DBS security check Successful completion of site assessment and induction before first shift If you're an experienced HGV 7.5t driver looking for flexible hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to earn extra during the festive season, we want to hear from you Call our Royal Mail Recruitment Team on 0117 454 0404 or 01454 634306.
