Mental Health Practitioner - Band 6; NSFT Jobs Our Under 18’s Suffolk Crisis Service Team are seeking dedicated Mental Health Nurses to join the team. As part of the Suffolk Locality, within the youth pathway, you will have the time and facilities to make a difference and promote recovery and change. Ideally, you’ll have experience and skills in working with young adults and their families. Our dedicated team is compassionate and responsive, working in partnership to review practice, develop therapeutic skills and support staff learning and development. Mental Health has never been more in the public eye; this post offers a range of opportunities to work with colleagues and specialist teams from a range of internal and external services, delivering compassionate, inclusive and high‑quality care. Responsibilities • Undertake assessments of young people. • Work collaboratively with families and other supporting agencies to manage needs. • Hold a caseload and undertake duty. • Manage and assess risk as part of the team, collaborating with all systems. Qualifications • Registered Mental Health Practitioner. • Experience working with young adults and families preferred. Professional Development Regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice. A full induction programme and access to extensive training and career development will be provided.
