Due to continued growth and ongoing success, are seeking a dynamic Payroll Clerk to join a Head Office team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day payroll operations, working closely with colleagues within the payroll department and reporting to the Payroll Manager and Assistant Payroll Manager. Key Responsibilities Support the payroll team in processing a 4-weekly payroll cycle. Assist in the development and implementation of payroll processes and routines for both hourly paid and salaried employees. Oversee and check key areas of payroll activity to ensure accuracy and compliance, including new starters, promotions, and leavers. Prepare and input data into the payroll system. Produce payroll reports as required. Resolve payroll queries while delivering excellent customer service. Support business projects by providing guidance on payroll processes and legislative requirements. Carry out general administrative and office duties as needed. Person Specification Strong IT skills and confidence using computer systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels. Strong Excel skills. High attention to detail. Ability to work to strict deadlines. A solid understanding of confidentiality requirements and GDPR. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when needed. A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
