We’re currently searching for a Finance Business Partner for our Technology & Consumer Business Unit, with a base site in Doncaster, Middlewich or Lutterworth (location is flexible). Leading GXO Finance teams across multiple sites, you’ll bring strong commercial insight and thought leadership across Open and Closed Book contracts in both warehousing and transport. You’ll juggle complex stakeholder demands, from Operational Directors, Finance Directors, Central Teams and customers whilst owning Business Unit reporting, driving Gainshare performance, and championing continuous improvement. This role demands confident remote leadership, hands‑on support during busy periods, and a sharp focus on adding value. It is a full‑time, permanent position, predominantly working Monday – Friday office hours with required flexibility; moderate travel will be required, working at least 3 days a week in your base location and additional ad‑hoc travel for customer reviews and visits to other sites. You will be working for an accredited employer of CIMA and ACCA. Key Responsibilities Ensure robustness of accounting within GXO and visibility of results to the customer through weekly and periodic reporting. Confirm clarity of balance sheets across each area of the contract to present to customer and to satisfy internal SOX requirements, identifying risks or opportunities. Conduct weekly and monthly customer reviews and produce periodic/monthly review packs. Prepare robust annual budgeting and monthly forecasting. Lead financial controls regarding Gainshare and Gainshare elements of the contract. Be part of the change team by analysing any financial impacts of projects for inclusion into business cases. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in a similar fast‑paced Finance Business Partner role. Strong understanding of open book contracts. Experience in the distribution sector or similar in size and complexity is highly desirable. Experienced in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings. Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers. Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified (essential).
