As a Lecturer in Agriculture, you will play a vital role in preparing students for successful futures in the land‑based sector. You will: Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across a range of agriculture‑related topics, such as livestock management, crop production, machinery operations, and agri‑business from Level 1 through to Level 3. Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, using practical, real‑world examples drawn from your own experience. Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback and pastoral guidance. Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure our curriculum remains current and aligned with emerging agricultural technologies and practices. Qualifications Have significant experience within the agriculture industry, whether in livestock, arable, or agri‑tech sectors. Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Agriculture or a related discipline. Are enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of agricultural professionals. Embrace continuous learning and development, both personally and professionally. Lecturer in Land‑Based (Agriculture) – the role: Set in 500 acres of Wiltshire countryside, our Lackham campus is home to a modern AgriTech Centre, a Robotic Dairy featuring market‑leading robotics and software, and Home Farm where our dairy herd, flock of sheep, livestock and crop production are all based.
