Position SENCO Key Details Location: Red Kite School, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, HP27 0JW Salary: £25,200 per annum (not pro rata) Contract: Fixed Term | Term Time Only Hours: 24 hours per week | Monday to Wednesday Start: January 2026 UK applicants only. About the Role Red Kite School is searching for an exceptional SENCO who is passionate, dynamic, and ready to champion outstanding SEND provision across our vibrant and nurturing school. This is your opportunity to take the lead in transforming the educational journey of children who deserve tailored, high‑quality support delivered with creativity, expertise and heart. Responsibilities Lead the development and strategic direction of SEND provision at Red Kite School. Ensure compliance with the Equality Act and champion inclusive practice. Oversee day‑to‑day SEND provision, including support for pupils with EHCPs. Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and multi‑agency professionals. Monitor pupil progress and lead assessments to ensure all learners thrive. Chair Annual Reviews and ePEPs, ensuring high‑quality documentation. Support staff with training, targeted interventions, and inclusive teaching strategies. Maintain accurate SEND records and contribute to whole‑school improvement plans. Qualifications & Experience A passionate SEND leader with a deep commitment to inclusive education. Someone who holds the NASENCO qualification. A positive communicator who thrives on collaboration with families, staff, and multi‑agency professionals. A strategic thinker who can inspire excellence across teaching and support teams. A champion for children with diverse needs, ensuring they receive high‑quality, personalised provision. Experience working with SEMH needs and a trauma‑informed approach, resilience, and empathy.
