Working with the Asset Care and Projects teams, this role also assists with upgrades and projects, requiring a flexible, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach to ensure smooth and safe operations.**What you’ll be doing:*** Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, and upgrades to facility systems and equipment* Conduct routine inspections and report issues* Supporting scheduled and emergency maintenance* Assisting contractors with fire, security, and building systems* Help with equipment moves and space reconfiguration* Maintaining clean and organized work areas* Maintaining records using company software* Following safety protocols and supporting improvements* Help manage inventory, tools and parts**What We’re Looking For*** Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems* 1-5 years of experience in building maintenance or construction (industrial/manufacturing/cannabis preferred)* Skilled with tools; able to perform basic repairs and assist tradespeople* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Good organizational and basic computer skills (work orders, checklists, email)* Physically fit: lift up to 55 lbs, work at heights, in tight spaces, and varied indoor/outdoor conditions* Valid driver's license with a clean abstract* Forklift experience is an asset* High school diploma or equivalent required**Why You’ll Enjoy Working With Us*** **Flexible Opportunities:** We welcome people from all backgrounds to join our diverse team.* **On-the-Job Training:** Learn valuable skills that can help you build a career.* **A Friendly Environment:** Work with a supportive team that values your contributions.* **Physical Activity:** Stay active with hands-on work that keeps you moving.* **Comprehensive Health Benefits:** Enjoy access to health, and dental coverage to support your well-being.**Important Details to Know*** No acrylic nails, no rings, and no jewelry.
