We’re seeking a confident, commercially astute professional to join our in-house legal team in London as a Employment Counsel.This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a global organisation, supporting operations across EMEA and Asia. You’ll be working closely with senior employment lawyers, HR, Compliance, and business leaders to advise on a wide range of employment-related legal matters in a highly regulated and fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing and negotiating employment contracts and agreementsUpdating and maintaining employee handbooks, policies and proceduresAdvising on performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace investigationsSupporting HR and business teams on compensation, benefits, and regulatory complianceResponding to regulatory investigations and enquiriesAdvising on data privacy and employment-related data issuesContributing to internal legal and HR training, knowledge-sharing and best practicesSupporting high-level presentations and reporting on employment matters to senior leadershipRequirements5–7 years PQE as an employment lawyer in-house or at a leading law firmSignificant experience advising clients in financial services (preferably investment banking)Practical exposure to international employment law, particularly across EMEA and AsiaA collaborative and commercial mindset, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levelsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage a varied, high-volume workloadSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionLegalIndustriesLegal Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
