OverviewField Service Engineer at EFI in the United KingdomEFI is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to join our UK Business Unit to support our growing customer base in the listed regions. This role is remote with regional coverage and extensive travel.Location & TravelRemote, covering either:Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire area (North London, Home Counties, South Midlands)Sheffield/Nottingham area (Yorkshire and Midlands)Travel: Extensive travel required within the region (average 20% overnight stays)Right to work in the UK required - no visa sponsorship availableAbout EFIElectronics For Imaging (EFI) is the global leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and industrial printing. We’re passionate about innovation, quality, and customer success — and we’re looking for people who share that drive.We currently have two opportunities for experienced Field Service Engineers to join our UK Business Unit, supporting our growing customer base in the regions listed above.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end technical support for EFI customers in your assigned region.Perform onsite installations, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.Support trade shows and customer demonstrations, including printer setup, calibration, operation, and breakdown.Deliver end-user operator training and ensure customers are confident in product use.Collaborate with our global R&D and technical teams, providing feedback on field performance and customer experience.Maintain EFI standards and act as a professional ambassador for the brand at all times.Job RequirementsAbility and willingness to travel extensively within the region, often at short notice (approximately 20% overnight stays).Technical qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, digital, or electronic technology.Minimum 3 years’ experience in a field engineering role servicing complex electro-mechanical equipment.Strong customer management and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent service delivery.Solid understanding of inkjet printing technology, RIP and colour theory, and materials/chemicals used in digital printing.Confident using and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.Self-motivated and able to independently manage a large service territory, including EFI assets (parts, tools, information).Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including use of precision alignment tools and tolerances of 0.001”.Fluent English required (written and spoken).What We OfferCompetitive salary and car allowanceGood benefit package including PMI, enhanced pension and family leave, Salary Sacrifice schemes and more.Opportunity to work with industry-leading digital printing technology.Supportive, collaborative environment within a global organisation.Ongoing training and professional development.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesPrinting ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at EFI by 2xGet notified about new Field Service Engineer jobs in Greater London, England, United Kingdom. #J-18808-Ljbffr
