Senior Services Account Executive / Senior Engagement Manager As a Senior Engagement Manager (Services Account Executive) you will sell a portfolio of service offerings designed to help our customers adopt the products they have purchased and ultimately achieve the business outcomes they expected from utilizing our products. These offerings include product implementation services and training. You will act as a trusted advisor to the account team and customers, creating demand for new service opportunities and partnering with the Sales team and our partners to drive successful execution of services sales opportunities for your assigned territory. Impact You Will Have Collaborate with software sales account teams and our ecosystem of delivery partners. Proactively create new service opportunities. Create pipeline and manage end‑to‑end forecasting for service opportunities. Meet and exceed quota for Impact, Implementation Services, and Training in both new and installed base customers. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customers’ digital transformation roadmaps and driving the right mix of services. Lead extended team in solutioning, scoping, and proposal development. Execute value‑based selling methodology for impact, implementation services, and training. Demonstrate passion for the job and lead by example by putting Databricks and our customers first to achieve the sales and delivery mission. Engage early with the sales counterpart to understand customers’ needs, business outcomes, and ensure exceeding expectations in delivery. Identify opportunities for new services by addressing potential use‑cases and articulating business value in upsell or extension of services. Perform as the SAE/EM in the assigned area and meet/exceed professional services and training bookings and revenue targets. Consult with clients to understand and analyze engagement scope, requirements, time, cost and benefits; estimate, scope, and develop statement of work documents as necessary. Help resolve delivery challenges, address resource contentions, scoping issues and manage expectations. What We Look For Extensive experience running a Professional Services and Education Services line of business. Extensive experience in customer‑facing roles that require influencing, validating, negotiating, understanding and execution. Data and AI domain experience working with customers to realize business value through production implementations. Excellent customer‑facing skills, including working with executives and other team members. Experience articulating the value‑based selling model. Experience identifying customer needs and implementing solutions. Service delivery and program management skills with the ability to summarize customer success outcomes into well‑structured program plans. Travel is required up to 10% (more at peak times).
