Expro are currently seeking Technical Drilling Sales Engineers to be located in Aberdeen, Houston and Dubai.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To ensure that all sales activities are performed in a professional, efficient, safe and cost effective manner to the complete satisfaction of the customer.

Key Activities and Accountabilities
  1. Dedicated focal point for technical sales. Client facing and responsibility to support operational teams. Work with clients to provide solutions to well based and operational issues.
  2. Perform work scope of including but not limited to drilling engineer within Coretrax PL. Meet with clients and potential customers to offer solutions packages utilising Coretrax PL tools and equipment.
  3. Responsible for pre-planning support comprising of Inova and Well Plan modelling, liaise with service providers, contractors and arranging Peer Reviews.
  4. Ensure that a high-quality service is offered to own and other departments and clients on all occasions.
  5. Assist the project team in subsurface planning of CTX tools in wells & Support Package development, technical limit & benchmarking, cost estimates, OMAR notifications and other permits.
  6. Ensure best practice associated with industry technical standards is always maintained. Support pre and post job briefings to ensure best practice is in place, known and followed; teams engaged and understand their roles and responsibilities.
  7. Maintain active participation in improving the quality and HSE management system and bring to the attention of management any HSE issues that require their attention. Be a role model for safety leadership.
  8. Provide drilling engineering support including development of detailed well design, programmes that include CTX products and a drill the well on paper exercise. Support well design and execution of performance improvement efforts utilising Expro Drilling tools suite.
  9. Monitor operations and provide support during the well execution phase. Capture lessons learned and provide improvement opportunities to clients.
  10. Interface with supporting groups to develop detailed studies needed to support project readiness. Example of these studies will be well bore stability, P&A, completion design, and how CTX products will improve on operational efficiency.
  11. Support HSEQ / SCM during audits on Key Vendors and Coretrax PL Audit schedule as defined in the Service Quality Standards set out by Expro.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
  1. Extensive experience and technical knowledge of relevant equipment and services.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  3. Previous Management/Supervisory experience.
  4. Proficient in Well planning software including but not limited to INOVA, Well Plan.
