Our team Eversheds Sutherland’s Employment Law team is one of the world’s largest with 220+ qualified lawyers globally and 100+ UK employment lawyers, a recognised leader in the UK. Clients include large employers and matters range from multi‑jurisdictional projects to high‑value employment litigation in the Tribunals and High Court. This role is mainly Leeds or Manchester based, working across the UK in cross‑office client teams. Our Leeds/Manchester team is large with opportunities to see a broad client spectrum, a strong support network and a reputation for delivering quality advice on time and on budget with government collaboration. Role and key responsibilities We seek a lawyer with 0‑4 PQE to join an energetic team of specialist Employment solicitors in a rewarding area. Key duties include: Lead major work for large organisations, including domestic and commercial law. Handle competing client demands across multiple transactions simultaneously. Deliver excellent client care, advise on high‑profile and Employment Tribunal litigation. Provide non‑contentious advice and project work across education, technology, transport, pharma, retail, industrials and utilities. Skills and experience Experience in an Employment team – 0‑4 PQE. Strong organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills. Ability to work independently. Experience in a national team. Responsive to change, commercial solutions and value‑maximising.
