Join to apply for the Housekeeping Assistant role at LQ Resorts Primary Job Purpose An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Assistant to join the resort on a seasonal basis. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across the resort, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. Candidates will work well under pressure to ensure tasks are completed on time with a commitment to providing the best guest experience at all times. Job Details Location: Weston Rhyn Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant Department: Housekeeping Reporting To: Housekeeping Manager Contract Type: Part-time Salary: From £7.55 Hourly to £12.21 Hourly Closing Date: Thursday 4th December, 2025 Responsibilities To be responsible for the cleanliness throughout the hotel and guest bedrooms, corridors and public areas including back of house areas Enter and prepare the room for cleaning i.e. stripping beds, emptying bins, collecting dirty bathroom towels Ensure that cleaning is to the company standards Replenish guest amenities as and when required Respond to any guest requests Report any maintenance issues within the rooms Replenish work trolleys and clean linen on a daily basis Ensure cleaning is consistent in every room Working quickly and efficiently so guests’ rooms are ready on time for arrival Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures such as left luggage policy Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures Key Skills Good teamwork and can work well alone Thrives on routine daily tasks Ability to work to deadlines Positive ‘can do’ attitude High standards of presentation, organisation and cleanliness Great attention to detail Polite Reliable and can work under pressure Required Criteria Willingness to undertake further training Housekeeping Cleaning Desired Criteria Basic training in Health and Safety including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Manual Handling Knowledge of hotels and housekeeping Working in the hospitality industry Benefits Discounts across the resort, including family and friends Free onsite parking Progression and career development opportunities Pension Scheme >Free staff meals Free gym membership Access to wellness programmes Share of Resort’s service charges on monthly basis Extra days holiday after 2 years Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at LQ Resorts by 2x About LQ Resorts LQ Resorts is a family‑run collection of quality destination‑led hotel resorts.
