About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Azure Power Platform Tester to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Power Platform solutions delivered within Azure‑based environments. You’ll test and validate applications built with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, ensuring functionality, performance, security, and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business analysts within Agile delivery teams, integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines and supporting automation across our cloud‑based ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high‑impact digital transformation programmes where innovation, automation, and excellence are at the core. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Power Platform and Azure solutions. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Validate data flows and configurations within Dataverse and related Azure services. Develop automated test scripts and integrate testing into Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub Actions. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients, validating custom connectors and third‑party integrations. Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508). Collaborate with developers, solution architects, and analysts to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and frameworks. Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives — to align testing with delivery milestones. Key Skills & Experience Essential: Proven experience testing solutions built on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse). Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation within Azure DevOps. Experience designing and executing test scripts, managing test execution, and reporting results. Knowledge of API and integration testing using tools such as Postman. Understanding of data validation and Power BI reporting accuracy. Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum or Kanban). Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Desirable: Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 integration testing. Familiarity with Power Apps Test Studio, Solution Checker, and Flow Checker. Certification such as ISTQB or equivalent. Prior experience in public sector or regulated environments. Understanding of Azure infrastructure, security, and data services. Clearance Requirement BPSS We are unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship.
