Electrician - Level 3 Location: HMP Bedford – St Loyes Street, Bedford MK40 Salary: £39,579.20 plus a 5% shift allowance for weekend working and £1,000 in RRA per annum. Contract: Full time / Permanent We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Bedford, a Category B & adult/male prison. Qualifications Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition) Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357. Two years' experience working in a role as a fully qualified electrician Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations Good Health & Safety knowledge Excellent organisational, time management and people skills If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you Explore a varied and rewarding career at GFSL.
