Clinical Pharmacist | KIMS Hospital Maidstone Competitive salary depending on experience, in line with agenda for change. Due to the launch of new services and an increase in patient activity we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team and will support the Pharmacy team in providing an outstanding pharmacy service, to both inpatient and outpatients. This role is ideally suited to a Clinical Pharmacist who is completely patient focused, with excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels. Role Responsibilities Provide a high level of individualised packages of pharmaceutical care to both inpatients and outpatients. Conduct clinical screening of prescriptions prior to dispensing. Conduct and support medicines reconciliations. Check accuracy of prescriptions after dispensing. Dispense prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner. Person Specification Essential Be a qualified Pharmacist with a current GPhC registration. Have knowledge of the safe and effective use of medicines and medicines legislation. Have strong communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Have the ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail. Desirable Have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty. Have experience working in a Hospital Pharmacy.
