Overview Head of Retail at Mooncup Ltd. Salary: £70-80k + discretionary sales bonus. Company Overview Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods. We launched the world’s first medical grade silicone menstrual cup and are expanding our footprint with Mooncup period pads and partnerships with workplaces, gyms and hotels. Key Responsibilities Own and refine the sales strategy to deliver ambitious retail and wholesale plans across grocery, drugstore, pharmacy, wholesale, and other retail outlets. Build and manage commercial plans; lead forecasting, performance analysis, and full P&L management for all retail and wholesale activity. Develop annual budgets and performance metrics; ensure tracking and target delivery. Lead commercial negotiations and joint business planning with key accounts; collaborate with marketing on trade plans and in-store activations to drive visibility and sell-through. Act as strategic lead for all Mooncup accounts, nurturing relationships with buyers to secure range extensions, store expansions and NPD opportunities. Own trade spend and promotional planning to maximise ROI while maintaining financial health. Analyze market data, category trends, and performance metrics to inform strategy and share insights with retailers. Ensure excellent customer experience, account health, and consistent brand standards across partners. Ensure product and stock compliance across the retail footprint; coordinate with Operations and Finance on forecasting and profitability. Support Product and Brand by delivering timely market and buyer feedback to inform innovation and marketing strategies. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in sales or commercial roles within FMCG. Proven success managing national and key UK retail accounts with strong buyer relationships and commercial acumen. Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable with P&Ls, forecasts, and category performance. Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with experience in fast-growth environments. Excellent communicator and negotiator; collaborative and solutions-focused. Genuine passion for the mission; demonstrated commitment to health equity, sustainability, and women’s health.
