Job DetailsJob Title : Kitchen PorterHours : 16 & 24 hour positions availableRate of Pay : £ per hourLocation : Kingsford ParkPerksB-Fed - complimentary lunch or breakfast.Flexible schedule.28 days annual leave increases with tenure.Free gym membership.Complimentary gym membership for another person (after 2 years service).Discounted Spa Treatments - 30%Discounted Spa Goods - 20% ELEMIS Products.Discounted Meals and Beverages - 20% and 50% off accommodation at any other Bannatyne hotel.Career & Personal Development training.Mental Health, Well-Being and EAP Services.Length of Service Awards.Staff Awards and Bonuses.Discounted entertainment and shopping.A typical day in the life of a Kitchen PorterMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen.Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as set by the Head Chef.Clean and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment, crockery, and cookware to a high standard.Use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE) safely and in accordance with guidelines.Promptly report any equipment faults or maintenance issues to the Head Chef.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food hygiene and health & safety regulations.Support the wider team by assisting in other departments during busy periods, as required.Demonstrate flexibility and a positive approach to teamwork and changing business needs.What we are looking forPrevious experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.Solid understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail.A team player with a flexible and positive attitude.Willingness to learn and follow instructions.Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Why Bannatyne?Joining Bannatyne as a Kitchen Porter means becoming part of a supportive, professional team within a well-established health and wellness brand.
