GCSE English Lecturer (Temporary Cover)
Contract: Feb half term with potential extension until easter
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic GCSE English Lecturer to provide temporary cover from October until the end of term. This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners and make a real impact in a further education setting. This role can also offer permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Role details:
Deliver GCSE English sessions to learners across two campuses situated in close proximity.
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, including planning and marking responsibilities.
Work collaboratively with the wider department to ensure high-quality learning experiences.Working hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 12:00Requirements:
Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
Experience delivering GCSE English within a further education or secondary setting.
Ability to travel between sites (full driving licence and access to transport required).
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
