Equans – Security Officer Location: Westminster, London, United Kingdom Job type: Full‑time, permanent. Length of shift: 12‑hour day (07:00‑19:00) and 12‑hour night (19:00‑07:00) with a 1‑hour paid break. Working pattern: 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off. Salary: £39,681 per annum, plus benefits. Responsibilities Provide a fully integrated guarding service operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Ensure the service delivered is professional, timely, and in keeping with contractual requirements. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all occupants, visitors and contractors within and around the building. Qualifications Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence. Proven experience in a security role or a related field. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Clear criminal background check. Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively. Basic computer literacy for logging reports and accessing security systems. Eligibility for security clearance – requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a valid British or EU passport. Evidence of the right to work in the UK. Benefits Generous holiday allowance.
