General Operator - (CNC) Shaped Tip Grinding Join to apply for the General Operator - (CNC) Shaped Tip Grinding role at I Holland Ltd. We’re expanding and need talented CNC Operators to help us maintain our reputation for excellence. As a General Operator (CNC) – Shaped Tip Grinding, you’ll expertly set and operate CNC Anca Punch Grinding 3‑ and 5‑axis machines. You’ll work in a flexible team environment, producing tooling with tight tolerances for the pharmaceutical industry. Your ability to edit programs, interpret drawings, and run multiple machines will help us meet customer and business needs. Base pay range: £13.63 + 30% shift allowance to £15.08 + 30% shift allowance (depending on experience) Location: Nottingham, UK Hours: Monday – Friday, 10 pm – 6 am (39 hours per week) – flexibility to be discussed at interview Responsibilities Setting and programming CNC machinery Productive running of equipment to meet throughput and quality standards Reading and understanding work instructions, drawings, and inspection procedures Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area (adhering to 6S standards) Assisting in process improvements and equipment development Communicating effectively and working as part of a team Qualifications Experience setting and operating CNC machines (preferably with programming skills) Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Understanding of quality standards and capability to maintain tight tolerances Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits Competitive pay plus 30% shift allowance Flexible overnight shifts (we can adjust start/finish times) Profit‑Related Pay (PRP) bonus scheme 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Ongoing in‑house training Cycle‑to‑work scheme Employee Assistance Programme Retail discounts through I Holland Reward Scheme Social events and pension contributions Free uniform and PPE Ready to join a world‑class manufacturer and take your CNC career forward?
