About the Role:We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our waste water contract.Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations SupervisorDue to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and have up to date digi tachograph card.Salary: £17 per hourHours: 4 on 4 off, 6 - 6, 40.25 hours averaged over an 8 week periodLocation: HarestockHolidays: 21 days including bank holidaysResponsibilities:As a HGV Tanker Engineer, you will:Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.Communicate professionally with customersAccurately complete job reports and system updatesConduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory complianceExperience and qualifications required for the role:HGV class 1 or class 2 driving licenceValid in date CPC and up to date digi tachograph cardWhat we offer:21 Days holiday including Bank HolidaysPension, Death in ServiceTraining and progression opportunitiesFull PPE providedFull training and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from under-represented members of the community.At Lanes Group nothing is more important than the health, safety and well-being of our people and our customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
