Kitchen Assistant Location: Brunswick Court, 62 Stratford Road, Watford WD17 4JB Salary: £12.80 per hour Employment type: Permanent – Part‑time (3 hours each morning, 0800‑1100) Choose either 4 days a week (12 hours total) or 3 days a week (9 hours total). Responsibilities Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents. Assist chefs with plate preparation, food trolley assembly and maintain cleanliness of preparation areas. Monitor stock rotation and comply with company policies, COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Support catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties. Key Skills & Qualifications A passion for food, previous kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are required. You should be eager to deliver excellent service, maintain high standards, communicate effectively with kitchen and care‑home teams, and cherish moments with residents.
