What will you be doing? As Phase Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading the Early Years Team — promoting high standards of achievement, mentoring colleagues, and inspiring excellent teaching and learning across the phase. You will play a key role in driving curriculum development, raising attainment, and ensuring no child is left behind. The successful candidate will : Teaches with excellence and refuses to leave any child behind Has experience of Leading Early Years Has high expectations and doesn’t put limits on learning Has a strong understanding of child development from ages birth to 5 Possesses deep knowledge of Early Years, including the Year R Learning Goals Is a flexible, committed, and collaborative team player Is keen to grow professionally and share best practice Brings creativity and innovative thinking to their role Can motivate and support both colleagues and children Communicates clearly and listens thoughtfully Is forward thinking and proactive Has a good sense of humour and a strong sense of purpose Will actively contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school Is willing to take on additional duties as required by the Headteacher.
