A lovely, welcoming one-form entry primary school in Hackney is looking for an experienced teacher to join their team from January 2026. The Role In this Primary PPA Teacher role you will be covering classes from Reception to Year 6, providing coverage for planning, preparation and assessment. You will work alongside the class teacher to arrange what is required for each lesson. For the most part the planning will be provided, although you may have some input in certain classes or subjects. You should have experience teaching across all primary year groups, good curriculum knowledge and a positive approach to classroom management. Your days will be timetabled, but you will need to be flexible and adaptable to cover absences or changes at the last minute across the whole school. This is offered on a full-time contract basis from January 2026 to July 2026. You must hold QTS and have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school. Due to the nature of this position, the school is not able to offer ECT induction.
