Finance Assistant Manager - Financial ReportingEnd Date: Monday 08 December 2025Salary Range: £47,790 - £53,100Flexible Working: Flexibility in when hours are worked, Job ShareJob Description Summary:Title: Finance Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting - Lloyds LivingLocation: Glasgow 110 St Vincent StreetWorking Pattern: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office locationAbout the roleThe role, based in Lloyds Living, will report to the Finance Manager and will join the existing Finance Team. Their responsibility is to provide legal entity control and governance and financial reporting to the Lloyds Living group of companies and implement the new finance system Oracle NetSuite ("NetSuite").This role also involves providing financial information to Lloyds Banking Group functions, including finance, tax, treasury, regulatory control, and company secretarial.ResponsibilitiesMonthly reporting and reconciliation – provide monthly management accounts and reconciliation of the Lloyds Living legal entity ledgers.Support and assist with the implementation of Oracle NetSuite, and develop an understanding of the new Lloyds Banking Group financial reporting system, Oracle Fusion.Annual financial statement preparation and review, including assisting Group finance with the external audit.Liaise and provide information to Lloyds Banking group functions.Liaise with 3rd party property managers to reconcile their financial information and report errors/misstatements.Reconciling the flow of information from other systems into NetSuite.Apply understanding of VAT accounting, legal entity structures and inter‑company transactions.Assist with the set‑up of new legal entities, incorporating reconciliation and controls for accurate reporting of monthly financials.Liaise and collaborate with other parts of the Lloyds Living finance team, including investment, operations, budgeting, new acquisitions, accounts payable and receivable.Liaise and collaborate with other parts of the Lloyds Living business, including commercial, operations and change teams.QualificationsProfessional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) preferred.Personal AttributesAnalytical skills – excellent analytical, problem‑solving and keen attention to detail.Communication – strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.Adaptability – able to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.Proactive & self‑motivated – able to self‑organise, plan and prioritise activities.Collaborative – a great teammate with a collaborative approach.Financial systems – understanding of Oracle NetSuite and integration of non‑finance systems.Skills and ExperienceExperience in the Property or Private Rented Sector preferred.Solid understanding of IFRS reporting, including preparation of financial statements and annual external audit requirements.Software proficiency – Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook) including advanced functions and data analysis tools.Experience with financial software systems, including Oracle NetSuite and Oracle Fusion.Experience with VAT reporting and returns is advantageous.BenefitsA generous pension contribution up to 15%.An annual performance‑related bonus.Share schemes, including free shares.Benefits that you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping.28 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top.A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies.We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building an inclusive environment where all colleagues can be themselves and succeed on merit.
