Multiskilled Maintenance Technician Nelson, LancashireConsidering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.- commutable from Burnley, Colne, Accrington, Blackburn, Rawtenstall, Darwen, Preston, Clitheroe, Skipton and surrounding areas Salary circa £50,000- £56,000 per annum DOE contributory pension, 25 days holiday bank holidays, free parking, overtime & excellent benefits 12-hour shift pattern (Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as required) Our client is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join their Operations team.Reporting to the Engineering Shift Supervisor, you'll take ownership for delivering a high-quality engineering service, ensuring production equipment and site systems run at peak efficiency.Key Responsibilities Diagnose, resolve, and eliminate root causes of engineering faults.Carry out planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment.Rapidly fault-find across electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, site services, and control systems.Support permit-to-work systems, LOTO, and site safety standards.Maintain accurate records in SAP PM (notifications, work orders, equipment diaries, reports).Collaborate with shift managers, production teams, and quality to quickly resolve issues.Contribute to continuous improvement, equipment overhauls, and operational KPIs.About You Time-served apprenticeship and relevant technical qualifications (C&G, BTEC ONC/TEC 3 or higher preferred).Strong background in FMCG/manufacturing engineering environments.Demonstrable competency in at least 4 disciplines: electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, control systems, site services, etc.Strong problem-solving and structured fault-finding skills.Confident communicator, able to influence and work cross-functionally.IT literate with SAP experience.IOSH and Intermediate Food Hygiene certifications desirable.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer in a fast-paced environment.If you're a proactive, hands-on maintenance technician with multiskilled expertise, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today xsabvtc This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Omnia Resourcing who are operating as an employment business.
