Traffic Management Coordinator – Severn Trent Contract Location: Nuneaton Depot (travel to other depots or customer locations may be required). General hours: 42.5 hours per week, with varying shift patterns between 7 am and 6 pm, including some weekend shifts on a rota basis. We serve utilities, rail, high‑speed networks, local authorities and events, and place huge emphasis on performance, delivering, meeting and exceeding client expectations from the consultation and design phase right through to work completion and sign‑off. Responsibilities Coordination and Logistics Accurately build, review and create picking lists for all work onto our ERP system. Liaise with the client to fulfil capacity efficiently. Schedule planned and reactive works using all available tools to achieve contractual SLA’s and KPI measures. Customer Service Attend meetings with the team and client, in person and online. Provide information and address enquiries, resolving issues in a timely manner. Financial Management Assist in maintaining financial transactions during the job building process to maximise revenue and stay aligned with contractual rates. Data Management Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of contract and operational delivery areas. Communication Answer calls from the client and customers, directing internally to relevant parties. Maintain effective communication channels with the contract team, supervisors, managers, and operatives to ensure operational efficiencies. Liaise with the client on job‑specific requirements and maintain accurate data on internal and external systems. Learning and Development Participate in training sessions to enhance administrative skills. Develop a solid understanding of our contract and services to assist clients effectively. Learn cross‑aspects of the contract to support other areas when required. What Good Looks Like Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Confidence working with Orion/SAP and other IT systems. Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines/SLA’s. Excellent communication skills face‑to‑face and over the telephone. Excellent negotiating skills. Ability to quickly resolve scheduling and logistics conflicts. Completion of work tasks with thoroughness, accuracy and consistency. Customer‑focused attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and take a proactive approach to tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping. We Would Appreciate Traffic management experience – not essential. Scheduling & planning experience – also not essential (full training will be provided).
