You’ll work with cloud technologies, modern data tooling and large‑scale datasets to create reliable, high‑performing data solutions. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, shaping technical approaches, solving complex challenges and ensuring data is available, structured and optimised for analytics and decision‑making. You’ll take an active role in evolving engineering practices, contributing ideas, improving automation and enhancing the quality of our delivery. Working with supportive teams across CGI, you’ll be empowered to take ownership of your work while building your skills in cutting‑edge data technologies.Key responsibilitiesDesign & build scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.Engineer & optimise performance across big‑data environments.Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure, high‑quality data solutions.Support CI/CD practices and infrastructure for data engineering workflows.Introduce new techniques and technologies that enhance data processing and insights.Contribute to best practices, standards and continuous improvement across the team.Required qualificationsProficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, SQL, Scala or Spark‑SQL).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).Hands‑on expertise with Databricks, Spark, Kafka or similar tooling.Knowledge of relational / NoSQL technologies (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra).Experience with ETL/ELT and workflow orchestration tools (Talend, Matillion, Informatica, Glue or ADF).Data warehousing experience.Proven ability to build and optimise big‑data pipelines.Desirable qualificationsKnowledge of CI/CD tooling and automation (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or equivalent experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
