Consultant Paediatrician (Community Child Health) Join Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Paediatrician in the dynamic Community Paediatric team based at Seaside View Child Development Centre in Brighton. The successful applicant will lead a department (to be agreed) and manage a child development/neurodisability caseload alongside a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide high quality child health services across community settings, including community hospitals, patients’ homes and bases across Sussex. Lead a department and oversee a paediatric resident, foundation doctors, GP trainees and specialist clinicians. Develop and implement new approaches to the delivery of child health services. Collaborate with CAMHS, the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, and local Education and Social Services. Participate in training and mentorship for residents and nursing staff. Qualifications Valid registration with the GMC and a Licence to Practice. On the Specialist Register for Paediatrics or within six months of admission to the Register at interview. Innovative, flexible, and committed to multidisciplinary working. Experience in child development or neurodisability pathways preferred.
