OverviewBank Healthcare Assistant role at Elysium Healthcare.Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want? After completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available shifts at The Farndon Unit near Newark, with the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.There is no minimum number of hours you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to retain induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available and viewable/bookable through an app. You’ll be able to secure shifts at The Farndon Unit with a few taps.Hourly rate includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, and you will have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking, and more.What You Will Be DoingYou will join a team that works well together to provide care for people with Mental Health conditions.Utilise your experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker to help people lead a valued and fulfilled life.Contribute to a positive, compassionate, resilient and vigilant environment to support service users.Help deliver high-quality care and support within a 24/7 service setting.The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Bank Healthcare Assistant you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.Where You Will Be WorkingLocation: Farndon Rd, Newark NG24 4SWThe Farndon Unit is a purpose-built hospital providing services across low secure, rehabilitation and acute inpatient settings for women with Mental Health and personality disorder diagnoses.
