Overview Job Role: ElectricianLocation: HMP THE MOUNT- Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead HP3 0NZSalary: £39,333.37Contract: Full time/perm x3 positions available We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at a HMP The Mount, a category C prison. We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical services to HMPPS, and we are looking for an Electrician with any combination of the following: Qualifications Two years' experience working in a role as an electrician Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent 18th Edition Certificate in BS7671 Good Health & Safety knowledge Excellent organisational, time management and people skills Benefits Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays Range of non-contractual benefits including Death in Service at 4x salary Access to private GP consultations and an Employee Assistance Programme Counselling services and preventative care assistance Financial reward mechanisms and retailer discounts You will find a strong focus on safety, a supportive, inclusive workplace, a competitive benefits package, and real opportunities to build your skills and progress.
