This is a standout opportunity for an experienced family lawyer to lead on high-value matrimonial finance matters while contributing to the growth and strategy of a thriving department. The Role This is a senior, client-facing position offering the opportunity to manage complex family law matters and play a key role in business development. Responsibilities include: Advising on all aspects of family law, with a focus on high-value matrimonial finance, divorce, and prenuptial agreements Managing a personal caseload independently, maintaining high standards of client care Leading on complex financial remedy cases with strategic, pragmatic advice Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team culture Engaging in networking and business development initiatives Collaborating with marketing and leadership to raise the team\'s profile Staying up to date with evolving legislation and case law Working cross-departmentally to deliver full-service legal support Contributing to planning, budgeting, and team development Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a solicitor with: 8+ years PQE in family law, ideally with experience in high-value matrimonial finance Strong technical expertise and excellent client-handling skills A proactive, enthusiastic approach and strong interpersonal abilities Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset A collaborative spirit and commitment to delivering exceptional service Working Arrangements This role supports hybrid working, with flexibility to work from home and from the Exeter office, depending on client and team needs.
