Facilities Heathcote House has a mix of 24 one and two bedroom apartments for people aged 50 or over looking to live independently but with the added reassurance of care workers on site. Shift Details This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternative weekends, 20 hours plus sickness and annual leave cover. Responsibilities As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested. The role will require you to assist people with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by engaging in recreational and social activities with individuals, both as a group and individually.
