Position Overview:
We are looking for passionate Operating Department Practitioners who are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. Your role will involve supporting anaesthetic, surgical, and recovery teams, ensuring the smooth running of procedures, and prioritising patient safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled assistance in anaesthetics, surgery, and post-operative care.
- Prepare and maintain operating theatres, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures, anticipating their needs.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations and protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner.
- Previous experience working as an ODP in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anaesthetic care, and post-operative recovery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
