Data Centre Engineers work on shifts that contribute towards providing support services 24x7x365 and report to the local Service Delivery Manager. What you'll be doing as our Data Centre Engineer: Installations Decommissions Nlyte Health Checks Changes Incidents Access Requests Handovers Stock Switch Port Inventory Receipt and receive parts and devices. Failed Media Disposal Process Rota Other Ensure Office & Storerooms are kept organised. Ensure punctual attendance for all meetings. Ensure punctual attendance in the office. Ensure emails from client are responded to in a timely manner. Proactively suggest and seek improvements and efficiencies in all everyday tasks and processes. Support the DCM, DCS & SDM in providing an excellent service to the client. Experience of working in high-risk environments and Data Centres Sound Knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies & Networking Concepts Competent in MS Office and Helpdesk/Service Delivery Applications A reliable individual The ability to work under pressure. A flexible approach to shift patterns The ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
