Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities. If you are an experienced, qualified children's residential care worker who is eager to expand their skills and knowledge, we would love to hear from youWhat we can offer a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker:We want you to feel valued and supported in your role and as such, we offer:Routes for progression and gaining additional qualifications (in children's care and activities)BILD accredited, paid induction trainingAccess to a company app that provides high street discounts, online medical support, financial advice and counsellingA day off for your birthday (in addition to your holiday entitlement)Access to a holiday home based in the Peak District where you can stay for free, on the companyA warm, supportive work environment with a good work-life balanceMuch more*Estimated full time salary based on a pay rate of £14.15 to £16.05 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 12 sleep-nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night).Essential requirements for a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker:A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care homeA level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)A full driving licence issued in the UKA keen interest in outdoor and adventure activitiesApplicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictionsIn depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practiceTraining and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.)Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcareDue to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or aboveSuccessful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).All young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way.
