About the role: Student‑Centred Support – Provide tailored assistance to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning across classroom, community, and workplace settings. Personal & Practical Care – Deliver personal care and physical support as needed, administer medication (with training), and promote independence through life‑skills development. Learning & Progress Monitoring – Support individual learning plans, prepare resources, track progress, and contribute to reports and reviews in collaboration with teaching staff. Team Collaboration & Events – Work closely with the Pathways Team, assist with administrative tasks, and participate in college events such as open days and transition activities. Safeguarding & Professional Standards – Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety policies, maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and engage in ongoing training and development. About you: Qualifications & Knowledge – Holds Level 2 in Maths and English, with a relevant Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it, and a working understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Experience & Technical Skills – Experienced in supporting young people with SEND in educational or care settings, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records. Communication & Teamwork – Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills across all formats, works well independently and collaboratively, and contributes positively to team dynamics.
