We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School based in Stafford. This Teaching Assistant's role is to work closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging and positive learning environment in a Year 2 Class. This role will start January 2026 and continue to July 2026. The working hours are 8:30-3.30. There will also be a potential option for a temp-to-perm role. Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 1 (KS1) Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA. A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months. UK school experience. A minimum of 2 excellent references. Recent UK school experience. Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive: Competitive Salary – Up to £60 per day depending on experience, which equates to £11,700 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year. Pension Contributions. Holiday Pay - 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot. KCSIE-compliant safeguarding and prevent duty training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse. Refer a Friend bonus scheme. Regular contact throughout the registration process and once you are at work from your own dedicated consultant.
