Freshfield Nursery School is looking to appoint an Early Years practitioner to support our children mainly during our after school club which has recently expanded. Duties include: Supervising activities both indoors and outdoors Supervision of children during snack time including safer eating practices Encouraging children to be independent Supporting children in groups or individually to promote confidence and self-esteem Setting up, cleaning and tidying the area The candidate would ideally: Have experience of working with young children however this is not essential Demonstrate high expectations of behaviour Have experience of working effectively as part of a team Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with parents Be able to use their own initiative and have good judgement and common sense when dealing with situations Be flexible and willing to work with all age groups within the EYFS as required If you have a desire to provide the best possible experiences for young children that will fully support their development in all areas, this role could be the one for you In return we offer: A place on a forward-thinking team Support from a strong, caring staff and governor team committed to children's success and the continued success of our school Positive, happy and enthusiastic children Please return completed application by post to the school address above or email to Headteacher at Freshfield Nursery School - headteacher@freshfield.stockport.sch.uk.
