Mobile Maintenance Electrician

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our company and work with one of our major UK supermarket clients. Responsibilities Maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and catering equipment in retail outlets. Undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs, and minor repairs as requested by the customer. Completing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Delivering reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance. Conducting emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs. Completing general repairs and maintenance at customer sites as designated by City management. Identifying non‑repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the Line Manager with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. Qualifications Essential NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition. AM2 / 2391. Full driving license. Experience using a PDA system. Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial catering/bakery. Prior experience with PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment. Upon completion of electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment, an additional £1,500 competency payment will be added to the basic salary.
