Responsibilities Ensure compliance with NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies and all relevant statutory regulations and approved codes of practice. Implement new or revised practice and policies within own work areas. Deliver scheduled, reactive and remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner, helpdesk or Technical Services Supervisor, keeping operational standards at all times. Fault find, carry out minor repairs or installations, and maintain services and equipment within critical environments. Perform tasks in disciplines other than your own when required. Assess problems to determine the best course of action, including complex technical issues, and communicate technical or complex information to various stakeholders. Maintain effective site log books at all NHS premises, completing them in a timely and accurate manner. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating Engineering or equivalent. Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent. Additional Requirements Driving licence is essential. Comfortable using technological devices to log jobs. On‑call availability. Desirable to have industry experience. Ability to work alone and/or as part of a wider team, working cohesively with other technical disciplines. Benefits On‑call allowance (rota dependent).
