OverviewSet in beautiful grounds, this nursery based in Tiptree is looking to hire a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work in the 2-3 year old room due to growth. You will be joining a nursery with ambitious plans, where the staff team are stable, happy and enthusiastic about creating amazing experiences for the children within our care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner, who can work closely within a growing team. You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature.This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week with a shift pattern of 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.ResponsibilitiesTo assist room leader and other staff members in providing the highest standard of compliance, care and education for children, and effectively carry out daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.To work closely with the Room Leader and other staff members in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine over lunch time. supervising and ensuring children's safety during nap time.Ensuring a smooth, hygienic routine over lunch time.To contribute ideas to planning with stimulating activities, ensuring the children receive high quality of learning and development.To liaise with nursery staff regarding children's specific needs and requirements.To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.To adhere to all Nursery policies and proceduresTo always meet health and safety and environmental health requirementsQualificationsFull and relevant Level 3 Childcare QualificationOver 1 year's experience working in Early YearsSound knowledge of Ofsted expectationsKnowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirementsBenefitsAnnual leave starts at 24 days on top of a paid birthday day off and public bank holidays.Annual pay review to ensure competitive salary.Progression plans for all staff.Ofsted 'Outstanding' rating staff bonus for the whole nursery team.Team fun days and award events to thank and celebrate our wonderful teams.50% off nursery fees for our team member's children and up to 25% for grandchildren / friends / families.Up to £500 bonus for referrals of friends and family for company vacancies, depending on position.Bike to work scheme and one-off contribution of £50 to help you buy a bike for work commute and the remaining amount can be repaid through a salary sacrifice scheme.Employee assistance helpline offering confidential counselling and advisory service from qualified and trained experts 24 / 7, including face to face counselling sessions where needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
