Transport Planner

About the roleHere at GXO, we are recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our Drinks national network Planning Team in Derby. The purpose of the role is to manage the planning / routing of the 82 vehicles across 6 sites ensuring that the network is being fully utilised whilst meeting both the customer requirements within budgetary constraints. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment with an enthusiastic team.ResponsibilitiesPlan multi-drop routes for our fleet of rigid vehicles delivering beers, wines and spirits to various different client sitesWork with high profile clients to enable an efficient and effective operationConduct remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the planEnsure that all related administrative work is carried out accurately and to a high standardMaximise efficiencies through effective management of available resourcesProblem solving and a customer service focusWorking with subcontractors and used to working under pressure and to tight deadlinesAre you 'planning' the next step in your career?
