Assistant/Field Service Technician

Field Service TechnicianLocation: Basingstoke, United KingdomEmployment type: Permanent (40 hours per week)Competitive salary plus benefits.ResponsibilitiesInstall, calibrate and maintain Detectronic's Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network.Assist in diagnostic troubleshooting and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.Travel within the UK as required.Provide support for hardware installation in confined spaces and manholes, ensuring safety and compliance.Qualifications & RequirementsAbility to work safely and effectively on your own or as part of a 2–3 person crew.Resourceful, hands‑on, and practical; able to enter confined spaces.Valid UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.Comfortable working outside in all weathers and in confined spaces.Good interpersonal skills; polite and respectful when accessing private or business sites.Current or prior training in Health, Safety and Environment, CSCS, Confined Space Entry, NRSWA, or First Aid; please indicate certificates.What We OfferFull training package, including Health, Safety and Environment, CSCS, and First Aid.Company pension scheme.Performance‑based bonus (dependent on company performance).25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.Generous nightly allowance when required to stay away from home.About UsDetectronic Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of wastewater flow, level and water quality monitoring equipment.
