We are seeking an experienced and driven Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Central Employment, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role focuses on managing temporary recruitment accounts within the industrial sector, supporting both multinational clients and SMEs. You will play a key part in maintaining strong client relationships, delivering tailored staffing solutions, and ensuring the smooth running of temporary assignments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end temporary recruitment processes for a portfolio of industrial clientsSource, screen, and assess candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and networkingMaintain regular contact with clients to understand staffing needs and ensure service satisfactionConduct thorough candidate interviews and compliance checks to meet client and legal requirementsOversee the placement and onboarding of temporary workers, ensuring smooth assignment startsHandle day-to-day account management, including timesheet queries, absence management, and performance feedbackIdentify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business developmentMaintain accurate records and documentation in line with company and legal standardsIdeally 2 years’ experience in recruitment (any sector) – desirable but not essentialStrong communication and interviewing skillsProven ability to build and maintain client and candidate relationshipsKnowledge of recruitment best practices and compliance standardsA proactive approach with a genuine drive to succeed and developAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentExperience in B2B business development and account growthWillingness to build and manage your own desk, with warm roles available to get startedCentral Employment has recently invested in improved employee benefits, including:Competitive salary up to £28,000 DOESalary review after probationAnnual bonus (up to 10% of salary based on company and individual performance)Early finish on FridaysBrand new offices at Portland House – a vibrant and inspiring workspaceDiscounted gym membership29 days annual leave, rising to 34, plus bank holidaysFlexible working: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.30pmOption to work from home one day per weekYou’ll be joining a company with strong ambition and a supportive environment that encourages individual growth.Glasgow + hybrid // PermanentUp to £60,000 DOECounty Durham + hybrid // Permanentcirca £35,0000 DOE #J-18808-Ljbffr
