About the Role Would you like to have a direct impact on our residents, visitors and all the staff working at Strode Park House (SPH) by ensuring a clean environment is maintained? Keeping SPH a welcoming and safe environment is no easy task, which is why the role of Housekeeping Assistant is crucially important to our charity. We are keen to recruit those that have a strong interest in working in Adult Care services and a desire to make a difference to the vulnerable adults we support so if you are compassionate, hard working and an excellent team player we hope to hear from you We are looking for permanent staff on a part-time and full-time basis, at £12.21 per hour. Job Opportunity As Housekeeping Assistant at Strode Park House you will: Ensure that the resident's personal space is kept in line with the personal choices they express and meets health and safety obligations Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of residents Clean bathrooms, bedrooms and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures Be able to cover our other sites including Canterbury and Faversham, if necessary As a Strode Park Foundation colleague, you will get comprehensive support from day one and receive training and development opportunities to develop your skills. Strode Park House is a residential home with nursing care for 55 adults with physical disabilities and complex needs in Herne, Kent. We’ve been delivering care since 1946 and this residential home is where it all started. The team at Strode Park House ensures our residents live in a safe and secure environment; each person’s individual wellbeing, dignity and choice is vitally important within the community of residents who live at or come for a short break.
