OverviewSenior Principal Wastewater Modeller role at Stantec. Leeds, with potential offices in Manchester or Warrington. Join a team at the forefront of digital solutions in urban drainage modelling, delivering projects from start to finish and mentoring the next generation of Modellers.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership for wastewater modelling projects.Develop and deliver innovative technical solutions across Stormwater Overflows, Water Quality Management, Developer Assessments, Flood Investigations and more.Collaborate with specialist teams to develop new tools and procedures within Wastewater Modelling to deliver expert client solutions.Plan and coordinate project delivery, including the preparation of cost estimates.Line manage more junior team members, including mentorship and supervision of technical outputs.Qualifications and ExperienceDegree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject; member of a recognised institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM).Experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment.Proven technical experience across a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities, with full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.Experience in management and development of staff and providing technical leadership to modelling teams within urban drainage.Strong client focus and commitment to service excellence.Why Join UsFlexible work arrangement with opportunity to work from home; collaboration with over 175 engineers across the UK & Ireland and international partners.Be part of a renowned UDM team at the forefront of innovation and smart applications.Individual development planning with clear progression pathways; comprehensive benefits package including private medical insurance, group income protection and life assurance.Hybrid working options to support work-life balance and a culture of inclusivity and diversity.About Stantec and Equal OpportunityThe Stantec community unites more than 32,000 employees across 450 locations on 6 continents.
