Consultant Psychiatrist – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Getting More Help South CAMHS team in Oxfordshire. The role is based in a well‑resourced multidisciplinary team and offers the chance to support the service manager in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care for children and adolescents. Responsibilities Provide senior medical input and clinical leadership to the Getting More Help South Team. Assess new routine, urgent and emergency referrals from other agencies. Supervise and advise medical staff directly under your post. Deliver ongoing management for patients requiring longer‑term care. Participate in division and clinical governance meetings. Engage in medical education, supervision and peer networking across the Trust. Collaborate with colleagues in the Psychiatric Department of the University of Oxford and other research partners. Qualifications & Experience Consultant level training in psychiatry with special interest (or experience) in CAMHS. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to work with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new ways of working in modern mental health care. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
