Project Manager - Engineering FTC Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I is a global leader in the beverage industry committed to the philosophy of "Bringing Water to Life" and sustainability. About Your Role You will serve as a Project Manager in the Engineering (Projects) team at SBFE, based in Coleford. You will lead and coordinate capital engineering projects ranging from £100k to £25m in an FMCG production environment, from concept development to production‑ready design. This role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. What You’ll Do Lead and deliver complex, cross‑functional capital projects across the full supply chain. Manage new product introductions and specification/installation of new equipment. Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery. Provide leadership, coach early‑career engineers, and shape project governance, risk management, and continuous improvement. Influence strategic business functions such as Operational Excellence, Quality Control, Health & Safety, and Customer Service. Apply commercial skills to plan, challenge, execute, and review strategies that drive customer‑focused outcomes. What You Need to Be Successful • Degree in engineering or significant experience in project management within an FMCG environment. • Practical knowledge of construction and civil projects in a CDM‑controlled environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. AutoCAD and SAP experience preferred. • Fluency in English and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK; UK driving licence required. • Strong communication, proactive mindset, flexibility to travel. • Expertise in construction projects, knowledge specific to soft‑drink production, familiarity with stage‑and‑gate processes. • Leadership, change‑management, stakeholder management, contract and tender processes, vendor management skills. • Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, analytical skills, initiative, and decision‑making ability.
